As long as I can remember, I’ve had a love of films. My first job at the age of fourteen, was being a projectionist at my local Mom and Pop movie theatre. I believe films are the most powerful form of storytelling and that they have the ability to open up people’s minds to new ideas and prospectives. Whether I am doing commercial work, music videos or my own films, I always want to try tell a compelling story and take the viewer on a journey. Storytelling is at the heart of everything I do.

I went to school to study psychology, but for as much as I loved the subject matter, it never seemed to be the right fit for me. So I signed up for a film school and it was there I learned all the many aspects that go into creating a film. I carried all that I learned onwards and I have been fortunate enough to take my love of cinema and apply it to the world of advertising. I currently work as a Senior Content Director for Dentsu Creative and I have had the pleasure of getting to make films and commercials for some of the biggest brands in the world. Some the brands include, Walmart, Harley Davidson, Jack Daniels, Boeing, Glad, Intel, Budweiser, and many others. I have also been fortunate enough to receive over one hundred awards from the biggest advertising award shows in the world including a Grand Prix from Cannes Lions and a Black Pencil from D&AD.

When I am not working in the ad world, I am the owner of Mothlight Films, where I love to create short narrative films, music videos and documentaries. When I need time to unwind, my favorite thing to do is to put on some good music, grab one of my old beat up film cameras and head out into the night to shoot some photos of Chicago.
